EDITORIL LETTER

A letter to the Editor of an English daily expressing your concern for frequent loadshedding in your locality.

To

The Editor,

The Telegraph

Kolkata---01                                    [Sub: Frequent loadshedding  in our local area.]

Sir,

I shall be highly grateful to you if you kindly allow me to ventilate through the columns of your esteemed daily about the frequent loadshedding  in our local area.

Today’s world is totally dependent on electricity.  But loadshedding has become daily routine in our locality.  Local people have been undergoing it since February. As a result, we have to stay maximum hours without electricity. Pending works of many offices are going up due to whimsical manner of local electric department. Even the students, common people can not do their important works in time. Local people  are compelled to wait for reconnection. As water supply in our area is made by the electric pump, the crisis of water supply has become an another problem. Due to loadshedding people have to suffer in the evening at the time of to and fro. Darkness always covers everywhere.

In view of the above, I appeal to the higher authority to take immediate action to solve the gigantic problem in our locality on behalf of the common people.

Thanking you,                                                                                                             Yours faithfully,

Joypur, Bankura                                                                                                          ABC

Editorial Letter

#Write a letter to the editor of a reputed newspaper to spread the news about the bad condition of schools in your block division.

To
The Editor,
The Telegraph,
Kolkata-07              Sub: Poor condition of local schools

Sir,
I wish to draw your attention through your daily renowned newspaper about the poor condition of local schools in our block division.
Our block division has twenty schools. There are many poor students in our block and they read in both primary and high schools. But the condition structurally and strategically is terrible. There is a shortage of rooms in the schools. Students can not learn properly because there is no proper infrastructure. They can not read more books on account of having no library in the schools. Mid day meal is not served daily to the students. Maximum schools have no safety wall so there is no safety for the students. Many institutions have been suffering from the deficiency of better teacher. Specially in the primary schools the teachers come to school and they  keep concentrate only on mobile instead of students. Even they are irregular. So naturally students of both primary and high schools despoil from the proper guidance and education. As a consequence many students leave government schools and a number of truant boys are increasing day by day.
I think government should take necessary steps to placate the condition immediately in order to get back the students as well as accurate education. I shall be greatly thankful to you for providing a relevant space to my concern in your prestigious daily.

Joypur, Bankura                       Yours faithfully,

The Editor,
The Hindu,
Kolkata - 01,      Sub: Bad Condition of Local Tank

Sir,
Through the columns of your daily reputed newspaper I would like to draw your attention about the bad condition of local tank in our area.
Condition of the local tanks in our locality is very deplorable. Water of the tanks is used for domestic purpose only. But tanks are engulfed with plastics, left over foods and garbage etc. Fallen leaves on the surface of water are not cleaned regularly. Cows are taken bath in the pond continuously. The mosses has covered the surface of water. Besides many aquatic plants have grown up in the ponds. As a result water of the ponds look like tar water. Ill-smelling has spreaded over the locality. So the people can not use the water. It is the big problem for the poor villagers.

I hope the higher authorities would take some adequate steps to improve the condition of the local ponds by noticing this letter.
